Yes. If a caregiver brings completed topics from another facility can we use these? Yes, as long as the caregiver has reached the required standard , you will need to check the completed topics to confirm this. A Training Agreement must be completed at the new facility. What do I do when a student leaves but has not completed her/his papers? Give the student the papers to take with him/her. The papers are the work of the student and therefore belong to the student. If the next facility the caregiver works for has the ACE programmes, the student will be able to complete the course there. The new ACE Programme has been written so that if a student is half way through a programme and leaves the Industry or goes to a facility that does not have the ACE programme then assessment can occur. For the normal $52 processing fee a partially completed set of papers can be moderated and the completed unit standards are noted as achieved and registered on the students record of learning.
