New National Qualifications
The present National Certificate in Support of the Older Person is under review. The restructured qualifications are presently being released and Health Ed Trust will include the new National Certificate in Community Support into the ACE programme. This updated programme will include home help and community support concepts. Please see the web page "2008 Programmes" for more information

Cross crediting of some of the present unit standards will be available and Health Ed Trust will provide documentation so this can be achieved in a simple as possible process.

Health Ed Trust has had considerable input into the restructured qualification and are looking forward to implementing the new qualifications into the ACE programmes

Until the new qualifications are released we encourage students to complete the programmes they are working on. The present programme will be available for up to two years from the release date of the new National Certificate.
