The New ACE Dementia Programme is not out yet, do I have to wait till it is?
No you can work on the "Old Dementia Series" and receive the four new Dementia unit standards. The good news is that you no longer have to do any other programmes before you start on this one. Please make sure you complete a Training Agreement for the new national qualifications.

How do I arrange a cross credit to receive the new dementia unit standards. I have completed the current ACE Dementia Series.

Please print out and complete this form Dementia Cross Credits. Also complete a 2009 Training Agreement and send both forms with some ID to the Health Ed Trust office. We will advise you when your new unit standards are recorded on your NZQA record of Learning.
