Yes, since April 2002. Papers will be returned to your facility if the ACE Core Programme is sent in without the Supplement attached unless you have achieved the 5 unit standards elsewhere. If so you will need to provide either your NZQA number or a copy of your Record of Learning as proof of achievement.

In December 2010 the National Certificate in Support of the Older Person will no longer be on the NZQA framework. This is for all providers not just Health Ed Trust.
The ACE Core Programme, The ACE Dementia Series and the ACE Programme Stage 2 all end on 15th October 2010. Three new programme are being written which mean students can achieve the new qualification in this sector, The National Certificate in Community Support Services.
